Dadeland Animal Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant/Clerk to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As an Accounting Assistant/Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by providing administrative support to our accounting team. Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
• Perform data entry and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets using Excel to track financial data and trends.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, with experience in financial reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
