Job Description

Butler Machinery is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Finance team. This internship is a great opportunity to apply your academic knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional relationships. Responsibilities:

• Supports multiple departments with various projects.
• Assists with finance submittals, credit approvals, and Finance doc signing.
• Performs UCC lien searches and contacts banks and finance institutions to acquire blanket releases. Also files UCC's and terminates UCC's when needed.
• Maintains a spreadsheet of current contracts and leases to assure all UCC filings are up to date.
• Supports the sales team with relationship development with the customer and Finance department.
• Supports other key projects within the Finance department
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Candidates who are working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Business or other related major in college preferred.
• Attention to detail and a high level of organization.
• Computer skills essential with experience in Power-Point and Excel required.
• Position would require a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year, potentially 30 to 40 hours outside of the school year.
