• Ability to foster relationships with large project teams, clients, client contractor staff, and third-party consultants.

• Ability to work in the Bay Area or Sacramento area, with travel occasionally to the client office and project sites within the state for planning reviews.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• 3-5 years of experience coordinating and leading tasks and deliverables with multiple technical leads and stakeholders.

• Previous experience providing land planning and permitting support/coordination for renewable energy facilities in California.

• Previous experience attending field meetings and an understanding of general Health and Safety protocols/requirements for engaging in field work.

• A proven track record of exceeding client expectations regarding deliverable quality while keeping an eye on schedule and budget.

• Ability to represent Jacobs during project meetings (in person field meets and conference calls) to provide status updates, track action items, and identify potential risks to project schedules.

• Ability to read, understand and summarize technical documents on multiple subject areas.

• Understanding of renewable energy facility construction methods, and planning and permitting in California.

• Experience supporting projects during CEQA/NEPA processes and resource agency permitting.

• Ability to provide quality control of self-produced work products, including close attention to detail to ensure deliverables are prepared according to Jacobs’ and clients’ high standards.

• Strong self-starter with ability to balance work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.

• Experience with GIS, kmz files (Google Earth), and informational databases.

• Experience and poise handling public involvement, agency coordination, and communication with clients, stakeholders, and professionals.

• Ability to grow and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic program that often requires responses to client inquiries to be provided within 24 hours.
