Job Title: System Administrator (US Citizens Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and application software.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and backups to ensure system security and availability.
• Manage and monitor servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Maintain user access, permissions, and accounts in Active Directory or equivalent.
• Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization, addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement solutions to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement new technologies and solutions.
• Provide technical support for system-related issues and resolve helpdesk tickets.
• Educate users on system functionality and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with server and network administration.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
• Experiencey with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
• Federal Experience is a plus.
